The works subject to this DA are two parts, namely the demolition component of the works and the remediation component of the works. The demolition component of the works will include the removal of existing buildings and pavements across the extent of the site. The remediation works will comprise the excavation/consolidation and encapsulation of potential asbestos and chlorinated hydrocarbon impacted soils at the site in order to facilitate the construction of a park.
