The infrastructure for the Bella vista pricint is not planned for any of the future development proposals . The roads are not be able to accommodate the traffic for the current population and how can they accommodate the added traffic in the future. The current metro station car park is very poorly planned and built not considering the number of people that will be catching the metro . The car park has a maximum capacity of 400 car spaces and there are about 1500 people catching the metro just from Bella vista station . There are a lot of commuters copping fines in the metro car park because of the poor planning by the planning department and north west metro .I would recommend the group of people from the planning department come to Bella vista station park their car during the day and try to come out of the car park on to old Windsor road at peak time. It takes up to 30 mins to come out of the metro car park and to enter Old Windsor Road . This is hardly 1 km distance from the Bella vista metro car park .
Do the planning commission has a thought process of how to control traffic from the metro station.
Will the current roads be able to handle the future traffic .
There has been no measures taken for the traffic in Norwest business park , Norwest Bld RD ,
The feeder Balmoral road will not be able to to take any more traffic than it can currently take .

I object to this project due to the lack of infrastructure in place to accommodate the traffic movement this project will generate, both in construction and after completion. I have worked on Lexington Drive Bella Vista for 2 years. On many occasions it has taken up to 1 hour to get from my office space to Windsor Rd, to begin my journey home. (less than 1km) .Frequently the entire Bella Vista area "gridlocks", and not many vehicles get through the green light from Celebration Drive onto Windsor Rd, as there is insufficient space left on Windsor Rd from existing traffic to allow many vehicles to join the traffic. The opening of the metro rail line has done little, if anything to improve traffic issues in and around Bella Vista. This project will compound the terrible traffic situation and for that reason I object-insufficient transport infrastructure to support this development.

You need to add some additional pedestrian access from the western side of Bella Vista station, towards Glenwood. In Landcom's original planning a walkway was provided in Emmanuel Terrace to access the Bella Vista station, but subsequently the station was moved further south, and the walkway now is all but useless.

I propose some additional property resumptions, perhaps 3, of houses that back onto old Windsor Rd to make access ways through to Glenwood, and perhaps 1 or 2 additional pedestrian bridgeways across old Windsor road at the Northern end of the station/car park. There is currently only one at the southern end of the station and this chokepoint (as well as the rest of the streets around the station) are congested as a result.

Personally I'd like to see access walkways created at the top of Whibley Av, Sharrock Ave, and the previously proposed one at Swansea Ct to ease the chokepoints.

The traffic congestion in the area is already extremely bad. In the mornings there are cars trying to get onto old windsor rd that are banked up well past Parklea public school. Today at around 4pm we were coming from Balmoral rd Kellyville to Glenwood and the traffic meant that we had to wait for around 4 sets of light changes just to get to the front. Also need to take into account that the Parklea markets will eventually be converted to residential units making the area even more congested. I encourage the decision makers to take a drive through the area at around 8am & after 4pm in peak times to see how bad it already is without adding another 3800 people and high density living to the area. The pollution, noise, traffic and environmental stress will make the area even more unlivable.

We currently reside in Glenwood, and have been notified on the proposed development near our home. Glenwood currently only has 2 access points to get in and out (Miami Street and Sunnyholt Road). These roads are already heavily congested, in the mornings it can take 10 mins lone to get through a set of traffic lights. The proposed development of approx. 5000 homes, could mean up to 10,000 more motor vehicle in our immediate surrounding - the current roads/infrastucture will not cope. The train stations are already full, so the option of public transport is also limited. Our buses from the Hills were also terminated due to the opening of the Metro, which has had a negative effects on our local community. Will you be providing carspaces for all these new homes or will residents start lining the already congested streets with their cars? I can only imagine the noise and disturbance that will come from the construction and also when an addition 5000+ people live in such a confinded space. The mixed retail will also mean restaurants/late evening traffic as well?. We have had to put up with 2 years of development of the metro, construction was day and night, we couldn't sleep at night due to repetitive noise and not to mention the dirt and dust we have had to consistently had to put up with.

I oppose this project.
It will make Hills area uninhabitable. Current Infrastructure will not cope more high density population growth. Roads are already blocked with current traffic.
Building 5000 dwellings near Bellavista and Kellyvile station means 20000 more people in area.
All of them will not take Metro. This is insane project which will make area worst than hell.
Rather build more cafes restaurants green public spaces to make station surroundings beautiful.

The Bella Vista station parking is incredibly popular and is having the desired result in taking hundreds of cars off the road.
The parking station is FULL everyday and one has to get to the station early to have any chance of getting a parking spot.
With extensive development planned for the area the demand for parking spaces will grow exponentially.
I strongly recommend that some of the existing land be allocated for an additional parking station (doubling existing commitments) .
This will greatly enhance the accomplishments to date and allow Bella Vista to grow with the appropriate infrastructure in place.

There are a thousand of people move to northwest recent years. Government should consider how to reduce vehicle on the old windsor road. I think to developed northwest line railway stations was a brilliant idea. Also, this project might offer more jobs.

I support the develpment projects along the new Bella Vista Station Precient.
As noted in the Appendix H, a new pedestrian connection from Swansea Court in Glenwood to the pedestrian bridge has been proposed. I believe this is very important for residence in Glenwood to benifit from the new metro, as well as the future develpment at the precient.

The current walking route for local people to get to the Bella Vista station is a large circle walking along the Glenwood Dr to Shaun Street and then go through the Emmanuel Baptist Church. It's not effiecent for people who regularlly travel from and towards the City.
Personally, I would prefer the 616X or 607X where the bus station is more walkable from home. If the Swansea Ct access is possible, the metro will definitly the first option.

Kind regrads.

I object to the proposal as the necessary infrastructure is not there. The schools are overflowing, there are no nearby public hospitals and the roads are so conjested that it literally takes 30-45 minutes to go 3 blocks on Old Windsor road. The area cannot withstand any more high rise or mid rise developments without first adding additional lanes to the main roads and building new schools.
