After reading your proposal and traffic management report, that states there will be no significant impact on peak hour traffic! I currently live on Fraser drive and just with the already built developments in the area, at peak hour it is near impossible to get out of my driveway caused by the extra amount of cars on the road.
To propose an extra 197 houses and say there will be no impact on peak hour traffic is an outright lie. Especially considering there has been no upgrade to the roads since I bought here in 1998. To head north on the M1 all of this traffic will have to line up at dry dock road lights, this already can take up to three traffic light changes to get through at peak hour. There has still been no mention of an on and off ramp north bound and the kirkwood road extension meeting fraser drive that was meant to be completed with the southbound exit on Kirkwood drive.
These road upgrades need to be done before another development goes ahead. I am not against growth in the area but it needs to be managed and the locals who already live here, plus those who will move here, need proper flowing roads and access to the hwy that was promised years ago.

As a resident of the Fraser Cove Subdivision on Fraser Drive I oppose further lots to be established as it is crowded enough as it is, exiting the estate near the townhouses is congested and dangerous coming around the corner as sight is obscured due to the narrowness of the street and cars parked along the curb on both sides. You have to drive in the middle of the road and you cannot pass cars in the street. This happens throughout the estate as well. As it is, we are packed in like sardines with small lots and a high destiny of residents in a small area. The townhouses have added enough extra traffic to the area.
Please do not remove the restriction for future subdivision lots. We need some natural bush-land around us.
