I've been complaining for a few months about GSRC, to the EPA, over the last few months.
They have been running machinery including a machine called an 'impact crusher' that has caused physical damage to my warehouse and the internal an external walls of half a dozen warehouses inside the same property, all directly behind and sharing a property line with GSRC. every time there's a small gust of wind, Dust and concrete particles come over the fence and through the large cracks in the wall and cover everything.
If GSRC are allowed to house this water, my fear is that the dirty water will sit, become stagnant, and the smell will make working in my warehouse intolerable.
GSRC shows careless disregard to their neighbours every day. my warehouse has been vibrating like a small earthquake every time they switch on their 41ton impact crusher. (which crushes large slabs of concrete less than 20M from my office).
At the moment, alongside the vibration, frequent dust raining from the air from over the fence, we are also getting flies from their compost heap.
I'm certain that if GSRC is allowed to store dirty mud water, they won't care about the smell from the stagnant water, they are selfish, profit driven and psychopathic in their attitude towards the environment and the neighbouring offices and warehouses.
If there is water stored on their property, it will become stagnant and the air, just like the dust, will make it's way through to our side and force people to leave and restart their business from a different location.
There are many small offices where people work surrounding the GSRC property. I am currently making medical parts in my warehouse to fight coronavirus and after the lockdowns can't afford to move my equipment to another location. With my tall roof, I'm constantly collecting concrete dust/powder from their earthworks, the smell of stagnant water will come through.
After complaining to the EPA, I've noticed GSRC workers coming to our lot and spying on us. They are fully aware that they are causing issues to their surrounds, and have done nothing to date to rectify the issues.
The second risk is that of an accident. GSRC uses many large vehicles (driven carelessly at times) high speeds in a small area, and if one of these vehicles comes into contact with the water containment barrier, our warehouses will be flooded. No matter where the water is kept on their property, our warehouses will be down hill and under the flood line.
They are very careless with their machinery, and have already and continue to cause damage to our property. Allowing GSRC to keep large amounts of water is a disaster waiting to happen.
