I live in the neighbourhood in which the Mayfield West Recycling Plant wishes to increase its load. In this neighbourhood already - we are exposed to One Steels noise and pollution, the rail line noise and pollution, Incitec's noise and pollution. At this point in time - I can only see more noise, more pollution, more dust and more traffic involved with the further up sizing of the Recycling Plant. How about we give the local residents a break or maybe with the up sizing of the plant - reimburse the local residents insulation because I have no doubt the local dust will increase as with the workload of the recycling plant. My house is already filled with dust - I seriously don't want any more. How about we let Mayfield regenerate itself after so many years of being abused.
