I am the director of a exploration based company working in and around the central west nsw, I believe the project at Bowdens should go ahead as it will have a positive benefit to the local community of Lue, Rylston and Mudgee providing employment and financial stability to those who work there and support the industry.
as a small local base contractor with he potential to be involved in such programs we support local communities by sourcing supplies and employing or basing our employees into the local community.
The diversity that Bowdens Silver can provide will add security for employment in greatly fluctuating mining markets into an area heavily reliant on coal mining and production

I support this project for the following reasons;
- Creation of employment in rural areas in regards to both local towns and with mining.
- Rural development / commercial development.
- Mining of natural resources to provide other industries with opportunities to purchase materials they can use for products such as jewellery, solar panels, electric devices thus stimulating employment and growth in other industries.
- Healthy competition with competitors.
- Potential for further housing developments in rural areas.
- In times of uncertainty (COVID / Recession), economic and industry stimulation is needed.
- Australia is rich in large reserves of natural resources and it is an Australian based company mining in Australia.
- Bowdens is one of the largest underdeveloped silver mines in the southern hemisphere.
- The company has provided a very in depth environmental impact statement with solutions to environmental problems they may encounter.

Although I don’t live in the Lue area, I have family that live close to the proposed lead mine. Over the years of visiting, we have come to know many locals and their concerns are very real. The ongoing lead mine proposal has had a detrimental effect on many; the stress and anxiety of knowing your children’s health and that of your environment and livelihood is very real.
I am extremely concerned that a lead mine is being considered in such close proximity to a town and more importantly a primary school. There is no need to tell you the effects of lead on children. It is impossible to guarantee lead dust will not drift across the town.
The ongoing and increasing occurrences of drought in the area only serves to highlight the importance of water security. The mine has the potential to not only pollute the nearby waterways but by taking such huge amounts of water from the environment it will affect the flows of creeks and rivers and therefore all life that relies on that water.
I understand the need for mining but the location of this lead mine so close to a town is just not a wise decision.
Please reconsider.

I am in full support for any project which might help communities to support their families by creating new jobs so they can start planning their lives ahead of time. We are facing difficult economical times and any positive action from the local governments helping their residents are great help. We all need to survive and leave difficult times behind. Standing 100% behind this project.

I support the project as it will provide jobs and support to the local community at a time when the economic impact from Covid 19 is being felt badly in regional towns such as Mudgee.

I support this project as it is a significant development for the state of NSW and for the Australian mining industry which will support jobs and growth for the anticipated 16 year mine life. Silver's use is increasing with the surge in technological advancements and I think this will be a critically important commodity for the future. Most Silver mines globally are located in volatile regions and so I support a local silver mine in such a stable area of the globe such as Australia.

The Silver Mines team has done an impressive amount of due diligence and community engagement on this project.

My boyfriend's family is from the local area and they have suffered economically over recent years. This is as a result of volatile weather conditions and job opportunities being fewer due to their rural location. This project will be fantastic for the local community by offering secure jobs and providing a range of valuable skills to young people and offering a better quality of life that comes without ongoing financial concern or worry. I really support this project going ahead.

This project will provide all local communities with huge economic growth and employment benefits which are of great need. The local communities have been majorly affected by the closure of many large businesses. This project going ahead would rectify any issues we currently experience. It would encourage the growth of towns, schools and existing businesses. It creates a future for the younger generations within these communities.
