I am deeply concerned about the negative impact this development could have on the local environment and the health of residents from the emissions of such a facility. This type of project does not belong in the middle of a populated environment and I disagree with the approach of treating Western Sydney as the go to area for proposed developments with negative environmental impacts.

I oppose the waste facility proposed for eastern creek. My family and friends live and work in the st clair and Erskine park areas. My son spends significant about of time in this area too with his grandparents. I am extremely concerned about the pollution and toxic omissions and the affect they can have on my loved ones. This kind of facility should be as far from populated areas as possible. Who will be accountable for those who get sick? And the loved ones who are left behind?

I strongly object to this catastrophic piece of destruction being placed so close to thousands of young children. So close to Sydney's drinking water supply.

My husband and I have lived here for 27 years, this is a wonderful suburb full of families of all ages. We are objecting to your proposal to install a waste facility at Eastern Creek. This will be detrimental to our and the other families around us. We have made our home in Erskine Park, put our hard earned money into our property. We want our children to bring our grandchildren to visit without the fear that they may sick or are uncomfortable at anytime, we are outdoor people with a beautiful outdoor area and pool, why should we have to stop doing this because of the waste facility. We are dead against it, this should never be allowed to go where families live, it should be put into non built up areas.....WE OBJECT PLEASE DONT RUIN OUR LIVES AND EVERYTHING WE HAVE WORK HARD FOR....

Toxic byproduct is released into the air. With many schools and young families in the surrounding suburbs, I do not believe that they will be sufficiently protected from any possible negative health issues. As these area's are also at the foot of the mountain there is also the potential for the toxic byproduct to pool at the foot of the mountain increasing the risk to all local population and agriculture.

I believe that this site is too close to schools in which have a lot of children attending. It is also a health risk to those who live within or close by the main area.

I object to the plans of building a waste plant in Erskine park area. The stench that already fills the area from eastern creeks waste plant and the toxic fumes that already fill the area from the movement of thousands of trucks and other plants, warehouses and factories in the Erskine park industrial area and the m4 is not attractive.
The number of schools that are close to the site that has been marked for this plan and shops would be affected by fumes, to state that only 1 in 2 people get cancer anyway and that your plant may only cause 1 in 100,000 is atrocious.
This would drop the sale rate in the area and affect people that wish to sell, if this plan moves ahead I will be moving out of area.
I think that all people involved in making the decision on weather on not this passes needs to think if there is a better place they could put this plant with less population around. With eastern creek so close why would you put another why not in the mountains where less people were exposed as people can't just pack up and move there houses in a hurry, but people can transport rubbish by trucks out of area.

To Whom it may concern,
I object to the incinerators being build, why put a massive population at risk even if that risk is low!
I object to this being built

This absolutely cannot take place so close to high density residential areas with so many young families, children and schools. Find an alternate location in a remote area where the impact on lives is minimised

Do not want this in my suburb. Our suburb is beautiful this is going to tarnish that. I would be living very close to this. If you as a planner of this project wouldn't want to be living next to it why should myself and many other residents in the area have to ? As an individual who already has health risks against me due to family genes why would I want to take the chances of increasing this risk ? I 100% object to this project

I am writing this in opposition of the proposed Energy from Waste facility.
I object to this proposal for many reasons. My main concerns are -
Health of the community. I am shocked that a proposal with even the slightest risk of causing cancer to anyone in the community would even be considered. The surrounding suburbs are full of thriving families who do not deserve the increased risk of cancer looming over their heads 24 hrs 7 days a week. We have many schools in our area and many outdoor public playgrounds. Would you be comfortable with your children playing outside while breathing in these toxins? I'm certain the answer would be no. Should our community be forced indoors to remain safe and healthy?
Our community already has the issue of the putrid smell of the tip lingering which for whatever reason does not seem fixable. There are times when we cannot even leave the confines of our homes due to this smell. Is this not enough of a burden to bear for the entire community? Shall we just add another unsightly and potentially hazardous facility to the mix?
We also have the Badgerys Creek airport coming up. While I believe the airport will be of a great convienience to our community it will also bring with it an increase in traffic, pollution and air traffic noise which is proposed to be 24/7. Surely our community has reached its capacity for negitive life impacting permanent facilities.
Property prices for our community may also be impacted by this Energy from Waste facility. I can't imagine any person wanting to pay the same level of pricing we currently achieve for a property in a community under the cloud of this facility however if we decide to move on we will still be paying current market prices to get into another area.
There is plenty of land in this state and this city. I am confident a more suitable location which is not within a community base and does not have the reach of families and individuals can be located and used for this proposal.
I am so very shocked and concerned that people we have in government, who should be protecting the interests and safety of its community, are continuing to consider this proposal. I am sure if this proposal was on your doorstep it would be a very different matter.

Please do not go ahead with this project.
You are putting the families of Erskine Park at health risk and this should not be acceptable. You cannot offer a guarantee that our kids won't be exposed to harmful cancer causing emissions and even though you predict low exposure to potential cancer causing emissions you cannot guarantee no one will get sick.
Erskine Park has many schools in the area and this alone should be enough of a deterrent for the project not to go ahead. Please think of our kids who are our future.

I am concerned for our health. We will have the airport on one side of us and now this on another. My children have grown up in an area that has clean air and now you want to dump this in the west also. We not look at areas that are vast that are not near suburbs. Maybe somewhere past Campbelltown or up north. Stop making the west a dumping ground..
I also would like more test done that includes the airport emissions because i bet that has not even been considered.

Appalled by what information has be forwarded to myself and statistics on cancer causing matter. I have lived in erskine park my whole 21 years, and hate to hear its gona be shunned by a big smelly tip that will affect the lives of all surrounding suburbs. 1 tip at eastern creek is bad enough on a slight winded day and then the tip in Kempis creek also. Is that all you want to do turn western Sydney to a tip.
