I would hate Gloucester to be ruined by a coal mine, both environmentally and with tourism. I do not support coal mines being built so close to a residential area.

I'm concerned about the impact on our environment, the destruction of native habitats. The long term impacts have not been fully addressed. Australia is a country where we have access to sustainable energy resources such as sun, wind and wave power, we seem to have fallen behind compared to other countries.

I am concerned about the impact of increasing pollution on health which further mining would aggravate.
