Wattle Creek Solar Farm

This infrastructure is too dangerous to the neighbouring properties and communities. Solar panel factories are a significant fire risk. I object to this project.

My submission for this project has been completed as an overview of the wattle creek project as a hole,eg-solar project and bess section treated as one. The submission is to be seen under the bess project submission.

The Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) fails to provide comprehensive fire risk management strategies. these industrial installion pose an enormous fire risk the an already high fire danger area.

There is no detailed plan for restoring habitats disrupted by the project. the surround land will be destroyed. the land will near be the same or ever returned top its orinagal state

I would like to begin by acknowledging the farmers of the land within our great nation of Australia today. I pay my respects to Australia’s past, present and future farmers who have and will continue to battle setbacks such as renewable energy destruction, drought, floods, vermin plagues, diseases, and government policy, all so they can provide Australia with food and fibre. I acknowledge that these setbacks come at a high price of mental health, and many have taken their lives as a result due to such pressures. I extend this respect and am thankful for the sacrifices those within the agricultural industry make in order to provide Australia with the essentials; I acknowledge the agricultural industry as the backbone of our nation.

Noting the Livestock Producer Assurance accreditation application, they recognise and acknowledge that agricultural land WILL BE POISONED by batteries and solar panels. Given this significant fact, these projects should NOT go ahead as they compromise our food security and environmental safety.
These projects are too damaging to the communities, landscapes, environment and animals. What happens when they catch fire? Not only are they dangerous, but they are also an absolute eye-sore. Let's put these closer to the cities so all the NIMBYs can marvel at what their vote has given them. Leave our landscapes alone. Leave our primary producing farming land alone. Our government needs to do better.

The proposal lacks measures to ensure public safety during construction and operation. It has no social licence. The surround residence are worn out by the constant barrage of industry

This terrible plan is all about Control & Destruction of Rural Identity!
I object to this destructive company industrialising our precious agricultural heritage and landscapes under a false banner of "sustainability."

There is no mention of independent safety audits to evaluate risk management strategies to stop contamination of adjoining farm land

The EIS does not assess the potential risks to nearby communities or to the disruption roads

Spark Renewables have a shocking history of wrecking Productive Farmland Forever!
By industrialising pristine food growing land, projects like Industrialised Solar/BESS JUNK permanently compromise food security, degrade rural prosperity & extensively harm our export competitiveness.

There are no detailed plans for managing potential chemical spills.

The EIS does not specify how hazardous materials will be handled and disposed of.

Regulatory Capture is at the heart of this despicable, Fake Green Solar/BESS Rort!
The rotten regulators and compromised energy ministers actively shield these companies from accountability—abandoning the public trust.

There is no provision for compensating 2nd neighbouring farmers for potential losses due to the project.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I object to the above as renewable energy is hazardous and will contaminate regional environments and may catch fire and cause toxic smoke and asthma and asthma-like health hazards in that event.

It is a myth that “renewable” energy is better. It is NOT better or CHEAPER than coal-fired base-load power by any stretch. This is also a national security issue when our services and assets are owned offshore. This is not in Australia’s best interests and anyone thinking or pushing that has a loyalty to somewhere other than Australia and should be held accountable.

The Environmental Impact Study does not include a comprehensive assessment of the project’s impact on local agriculture.

The development may disrupt local systems, affecting stock grazing yields.

I object to Predatory Developers like greedy, deceitful Spark Renewables - who exploit weak planning laws and local communities for private profit—leaving irreversible public damage.

There is no clear plan to protect local water resources from potential contamination.
