Dear whom it may concern,

I strongly support the proposed Invincible Coal Mine - Southern Extension Project.

The Southern Extension Project will have significant economic and social benefits to the region including investment, jobs and taxes.

If approved the revenue, expenditure and employment associated with the Southern Extension Project will stimulate economic and social activity in the Cullen Bullen, Lithgow, wider regional communities and the broader NSW economy.

Regional towns, in particular in the Cullen Bullen and Lithgow area, are currently experiencing the effects of closures (temporary and permanent) of a number of large employers in the region. The additional employment generated by the Southern Extension Project will have significant economic and social benefits to the local region. This Project will bring investment, taxes, local direct and indirect jobs to the region.

This Project will increase local employment, opportunities and increase the population of Cullen Bullen which is a tremendous boost to a regional town. Additionally, the Southern Extension Project will have an estimated net benefit to NSW of $79.7 million in net present value (NPV) terms.

Castlereagh Coal is also one of the few mining companies that is 100 per cent Australian owned, that means the jobs and investment remains in Australia.

I urge you to support and approve the proposed Invincible Coal Mine Ð Southern Extension Project."
