Amend Albury LEP 2010 - B4 Land use table (Permit residential development) and Schedule 2 (Exempt bracket signs)

1. Amend the B4 Mixed use Zone LAND USE TABLE to permit attached dwellings, caravan parks, dual occupancies, dwelling houses, group homes, hostels, multi-dwelling housing, residential flat buildings and semi-detached dwellings.2. Schedule 2 (Exempt development) currently has two entries for 'Signage - under awning signs'. Revise Schedule 2 (Exempt Development)to amend the first entry relating to 'Signage - under awning signs' to 'Signage - bracket signs'. The RPA has stated that "This amendment seeks to rectify several errors in the gazetted LEP and does not depart from the intent of the LEP."These amendments to the Albury LEP 2010 are in response to changes made by the Department and PC after exhibition of the plan that was inconsistent with Council's s68 LEP.The Council has requested that amendments be processed under section 73A because the changes made to the LEP "are obvious errors that qualify as minor amendments under Section 73A of the EP&A Act...". Council resolution dated 27 September 2010.
