The planning proposal seeks to amend Clause 4.3 and 4.4 of the Penrith Local Environmental Plan 2010 to increase the maximum permissible building height from 32 metres (10-11 storeys) to 61 metres (19-20 storeys) and the floor space ratio from 3.5:1 to 5.5:1.
The proposal will allow the redevelopment of the Station Plaza Shopping Centre to allow mixed use development including apartments, upgraded shops, and commercial premises.
