Planning Proposal - Removal of multi dwelling housing from the R2 Low Density Residential zone
Ryde
The planning proposal seeks to amend Ryde Local Environmental Plan 2014 to remove 'Multi dwelling housing' as a permitted land use from the R2 Low Density Residential zone and amend the planning controls relating to Dual Occupancy (attached) development.
The planning proposal is a suggested strategic direction of the City of Ryde's Draft Housing Strategy to mitigate the predicted impacts from the commencement of Part 3B Low Rise Medium Density Housing Code under State Environmental Planning Policy (Exempt and Complying Development Codes) 2008.
