The Frenchs Forest 2041 Place Strategy was finalised on 17 December 2021.
New planning controls came into force in June 2022.
The place strategy is a 20-year plan to deliver a new town centre, 1.5 hectares of new open space, better walking and cycling connections, 2,000 new homes and up to 2,000 new job.
The draft place strategy was exhibited from 23 July to 3 September 2021.
The place strategy is supported by a Special Infrastructure Contribution.
