The Leppington Precinct Plan proposes changes to planning controls, land uses and the provision of new infrastructure for the Leppington Precinct, as well as a change to the alignment of Rickard Road north of Ingleburn Road.
A draft plan for the Leppington Precinct was exhibited from 10 November to 19 December 2014, receiving 92 submissions.
The rezoning of land for urban development is taking place in stages:
- Stage 1 was rezoned in November 2015
- Stages 2 and 5 was rezoned on 16 July 2021
The rezoning of the remaining stages 3 and 4 will be determined in collaboration with Camden Council and infrastructure providers.
