Online CDC Service API

The Department is developing inbound and outbound APIs to facilitate the flow of CDC data between the Online CDC Service and the IT systems of councils and private certifiers.

The outbound API enables a council or private certifier to receive the CDC data entered by an applicant into the Online CDC Service directly into their IT system in real-time. This eliminates the need for double entry of application details into the IT systems of councils or private certifiers.

Councils or private certifiers can then progress the application in their own IT system (conduct completeness checks, request and receive additional information and provide a determination) as the inbound API transfers this data from council or private certifier to the Online CDC Service.
