Cooma Road ND Culvert Repairs

Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional

Repairs to 7 sites along Cooma Road following ND in 2023.
Site 1 - Remove silt/sand deposits from culvert inlet and outlet.
Site 2 - Excavate, reshape, backfill, compact and trim damaged outlet scour protection to facilitate the reinstatement of pipes and headwall. Rock armour on outlet. Debris removal from inlet, incl. stockpiled material in priv property adjacent.
Site 3 - Clean culvert inlet, Excavate, reshape, trim and compact damaged sections on upstream and downstream sides. Install rock scour protection.
Site 4 - Remove silt/sand deposits from inlet and outlet. Repair shoulders.
Site 5 - Removal of wood debris on bridge pier.
Site 6 - Demolish and remove existing culvert, widen inlet side to accomodate construction of new in 2 halves. Construct new culvert.
Site 7 - Clear debris from culvert inlet and repair scour protection.
