Thirlmere Lakes Visitor Facilities Upgrade

Wollondilly Shire Council

In line with the 2019 Plan of Management, renewal of visitor facilities at the Werri Berri and Couridjah picnic areas. These areas, established in the 1950s, contain aging infrastructure that no longer meets NPWS standards and requires significant maintenance. The renewal works will upgrade both picnic areas largely within their existing footprints, replacing outdated infrastructure, improving accessibility, and addressing erosion. The activity also includes repairs and enhancements to the Thirlmere Lakes walking track between Couridjah picnic area and Dry Lakes Road.
