Establishment of a Waste Management Facility comprising of a Waste Transfer Station capable of the temporary storage of up to 100,000 litres and Associated Works

The proposed Waste Management Facility comprises the temporary storage of up to 100,000 litres (approx. 100 tonnes) of waste material consisting of excavation mud, waste oil, oily waters, sewage and grease trap waste. The collected materials are to be stored in appropriate containers until a sufficient amount is collected to enable a bulk load to be transported to an appropriate receival facility. The proposed development includes the construction of two sheds one office building and one amenities building. The proposed building(s) and operation are to be situated on the fill pad currently being constructed and approved under the consent of Development Application 2013/355. The site area is of a total of 12.54ha the proposed area of operations is approximately 1ha.
