Increased capacity of a Waste Recovery Facility

Designated and Integrated DA proposing to increase the processing capacity of an approved Waste Recovery Facility. The proposed total processing capacity is for 28,000 tonnes per year for solid and/or liquid organic and green waste. This is a Designated DA as it triggers the threshold under cl 32(1)(c) and 32(1)(d)(iv) of the Regulation. This is an integrated DA under cl4.8 of the Act as it triggers the requirement for an Environment protection licence under the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997.
