Planning Proposals

A Planning Proposal is required to change to the Local Environmental Plan (planning rules) applying to land and to give effect to strategic planning. The proposal provides a clear explanation of the change to the planning rules and provides a justification.

Local Environmental Plans (LEPs) guide planning decisions across NSW. The Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE) work closely with all councils to ensure up-to-date local planning controls are in place..

This site provides Planning Proposals for the Eastern Harbour City, Western NSW, Northern NSW and Sydney Western regions.
