Rosebery Estate – proposed amendment to exempt and complying development
The Department of Planning, Industry and Environment sought feedback on proposing a temporary exclusion of the Housing Code and the Low Rise Housing Diversity Code in the State Environmental Planning Policy (Exempt and Complying Development Codes) 2008 (Codes SEPP) for the area identified as the Rosebery Estate, in Rosebery.
The proposed changes have resulted in the Rosebery Estate area (as identified in the EIE) being excluded from the Housing Code and the Low Rise Housing Diversity Code until 31 December 2022.
An Explanation of Intended Effect (EIE) outlining the proposed amendments was on exhibition from 2 December to 29 January 2021.
