APIs for ePlanning Digital Services

The Department uses APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to facilitate the flow of data between ePlanning Digital Services and the IT systems of its stakeholders, such as councils and private certifiers. The APIs for each online service can be explored in more detail by engaging with the technical specifications below. (Please note some APIs are still in production)

To access any of the APIs, a subscription key will be required. This unique key will enable users to consume the functionality of the APIs for each service. To request a subscription key, please click on the first tile below -"How to Obtain an API Subscription Key".

The remaining tiles provide access to the API specifications for each online service and reference material. Each specific API tile contains an overview and a short description of the API, as well as the API specifications, release notes and an outline of what's coming in future releases.
