The Special Infrastructure Contribution (SIC) for Western Sydney Aerotropolis took effect on 25 March 2022.
The Special Infrastructure Contribution (SIC) will help fund the delivery of infrastructure in the Western Sydney Aerotropolis including up to $1.1 billion to pay for roads, open space, education, health, and emergency facilities.
A SIC charge is paid by developers to provide a contribution towards the delivery of key state and regional infrastructure.
The proposed Special Infrastructure Contribution for Western Sydney Aerotropolis was on exhibition from 10 November 2020 to 26 February 2021.
