Macquarie Park – Stage 1 rezoning
The Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (the Department) has finalised the Macquarie Park Stage 1 Rezoning simultaneously with the Macquarie Park TOD Rezoning. Finalising these two stages allows us to bring the Macquarie Park Place Strategy to life faster by accelerating delivery of new homes and creating new pedestrian, road and cycling connections, open spaces, and jobs.
The proposal was available for public feedback from 9 November to 10 December 2023. The feedback received during the exhibition periods for both Stage 1 and Stage 2 was considered in the final rezoning.
