Fairfield City Council Direct (Section 7.11) Development Contributions Plan - Draft Amendment No. 12

At its meeting held on 9 February 2021, Council resolved to publicly exhibit amendments to the Fairfield Direct (Section 7.11) Development Contributions Plan 2011. The purpose of draft amendment is to:

1. reflect the land acquisition schedule and contribution rate changes resulting from Fairfield Local Environmental Plan 2013 Amendment No.38 that rezoned certain residential land in the Fairfield LGA;
2. amend the land acquisition works schedule and contribution rates;
3. amend relevant text to incorporate new standards for open space provision reflected in the Western City District Plan 2018; and
4. make minor amendments to update references to sections in the EP&A Act 1979, environmental planning instruments, planning policies and local strategies.
