The proposed 76.4 MW data centre with a 45-metre height poses significant risks to the local community, including environmental, health, and urban planning concerns. Its high energy consumption strains local power grids, potentially leading to higher electricity costs and increased carbon emissions. The excessive water usage for cooling could deplete local resources, affecting residents and businesses. Additionally, the 45-metre height disrupts the visual landscape, causing urban congestion and reducing property values. Increased noise pollution and waste heat emissions further contribute to declining air quality and overall livability in the area.

This project may contribute significantly to greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption and noise pollution in the area, and will have a negative impact on the environment and the landscape of our suburb.
The address is too close to residential buildings as well as a busy shopping centre, a clinic, childcare centres as well as offices.
The value of the project is doubtful while the environmental footprint and negative impact on local area is significant.
