Bindaree Abattoir

I strongly support the development proposal by Bindaree Beef which will greatly improve the adverse environmental impacts of smell and effluent disposal which have been issues of varying severity in the past. I am a neighbor of the plant and associated cattle paddocks.

Binderee Beef Bio Digester and Rendering Plant Submission re: Noise impacts relative to 84 Ditzells Drive, Inverell

Whilst we welcome the project to install a new Bio Digester at the Binderee Beef Abattoir site which will result in the reduction of odour emissions from the plant we do have concerns regarding the projected noise level increases to our property 84 Ditzells Drive, Inverell as highlighted in NSW Government Major Projects Job ID 6093, Binderee Beef Abattoir Bio Digester and Rendering Plant.
* Currently we enjoy relative quite in residing at 84 Ditzells Drive, Inverell
* We are invested heavily in our property and would not wish to have our asset compromised by an unacceptable increase in constant noise emissions from the Proposed Bio Digester and Rendering Plant, Binderee Beef
o Liveability potentially will be reduced if steps are not taken to mitigate increased sound/noise emissions from the Plant upgrade
* It is requested that Binderee Beef review plans of Rendering plant installation and make necessary changes to reduce constant noise emissions from the new facility, eg;
o Remodel areas on the North North-east side of the Rendering Plant and Install large screens or dense tree lines in front of the Rendering Plant to absorb and defuse noise escaping unduly in the direction of 84 Ditzells Drive Inverell.
* We reserve the right to seek compensation if the new rendering plant impacts negatively on the value of our property and liveability of residing at 84 Ditzells Drive, Inverell.
