Official Caution issued to Water NSW (SSI-5039) Tamworth Regional LGA
On 10 October 2022, the Department issued an Official Caution to Water NSW for failure to implement the approved Biodiversity Offset Package for the Chaffey Dam Safety Upgrade and Augmentation project, by failing to conduct the Booroolong Frog monitoring, reporting and translocation requirements contained in the Booroolong Frog Offset Plan. Water NSW are currently working with the NSW and Commonwealth governments to update the Booroolong Frog Offset Plan and relevant approvals.
