I have been a member of the Central West Bushwalking Club for almost 50 years and have enjoyed over 100 walks in the Gardens of Stone. Previously Newnes State Forest. I love sitting quietly on top of a pagoda rock formation taking in the magnificent landscape. Occasionally a helicopter may have passed over spoiling that tranquility. I can not imagine up to 30 times more noisy flyovers per day. Hard to take in. The flight path shown in and out of the resort passes right over many of the best locations to walk. I understand that the Wolgan Valley Road is set to reopen in about 3 months. So why this great increase in flights. Please do not allow this Modification to happen. They say it will be temporary but how do we know they won't push for it to remain with increased daily flights.

Given that the exhibition period for Mod 4 has been extended slightly by a day, to the 19/05/2026, we have some additional information we'd like to include and add to our first submission (dated 17/05/2026).
Additional information is listed below and attached:
1. Photo taken 18/05/26 looking east towards Cape Pinnacle, from in the Wolgan Valley. It shows it’s hard to see when it’s misty or rainy, making it unsafe for helicopters to be flying in and out of the Wolgan Valley to and from the resort.
Artwork and marked-up GE image, created by our own next generation, listed below and attached:
2. No helicopters picture: helicopters are too noisy and wreck the peace and quiet.
3. GoogleEarth photo: pins show the existing flight path, the proposed flight path and the houses near it. The red line shows the area of other houses affected by the proposed flight path, that are not included in helicopter document.

I object to the proposal by Emirates to increase the helicopter flights into the Wolgan Valley from 14 per week to 105 . The proposed schedule is more aligned to an urban USA heliport ( e.g NYC / Grand Canyon) not a luxury conservation resort focused on privacy and tranquility.
I specifically object to the noise and disturbance from this increase in flights that would ultimately affect residents , visitors and the wider community.
The opening of the resort is welcomed , particularly its potential to contribute to the local economy and create jobs. This outcome would be strengthened by prioritising locally employed ground transport services, positioning the journey to the resort as part of the guest experience.

Also attached is an Excel file of 58 submissions to this public exhibition process that I hope your Department shall accept for the reasons outlined in the supplementary submission.
