I adopt the submission of the Black Hill and Buttai community groups’ submission. I also adopt all previous submissions I’ve made against this proposal.
Black Hill is rural. It is zoned rural yet you want to put heavy industrial smack bang in the middle - just to support Sydney growth. The noise from 24/7 operations will be loud all night. How is the environment to cope? If lights and operations and noise are going all night, how do people let alone the wildlife sleep? All we hear now is the traffic noise from John Renshaw Dave and the Hunter Expressway. Trucks compression braking because they think they can get away with it. Even more traffic lights within a few hundred metres?
Imagine living here when we bought our properties over 50 years ago to be surrounded by the environment and to take care of it. How distressing to watch the increased road kill - I even saw a dead pelican. We’re killing the environment, we have a tropical cyclone about to land in NSW yet you want to ignore climate change and kill more environment?
And we’re over submitting the same documents for the last 50 years. Please go to Sydney.
