Official Caution issued to Rex J. Andrews Pty Limited (Mayfield Cargo Facility DA8137) City of Newcastle LGA
On 12 April 2024, NSW Planning issued an Official Caution to Rex J. Andrews Pty Limited (Rex Andrews) by storing, loading, and/or unloading cargo in the expansion area of the Mayfield Cargo Facility prior to the site being remediated as required by the consent. Rex Andrews is in the process of removing cargo stored in the expansion areas and the department will continue to monitor the site.
