Matraville is becoming more residential.
New Town houses Residential homes have been built meters away from this site
All heavy vehicle traffic need to be kept away from Macaulie St between Austalia Ave and Perry St
Raymond Ave needs to be closed at Harold st intersection to prevent heavy vehicles using this resedential end.
Aproval of such development should not be state signicant and should be up to the local concil and its residents

There is already not enough street parking in the area to support the growth of industrial warehouse and office area.
Too many trucks are already entering McCauley St and Raymond Avenue and causing noise and disturbance to the neighbourhood.

The application does not clearly state the warehouse use or operation hours. Is this a 24/7 operation involving more trucks and noise at night. I also disagree with the statement with reference to impact on the community. It says that we are used to living with industrial sites. When I moved to the area over 25 years ago, there was minimal industry. We do not want more industry in the area, the noise generated from the wharfs, paper mill, Orica is overpowering as it is. So your statement saying the residents “will adjust easily” NO WE WONT.

I object to this application based on the grounds that you are letting too much industry into this residential pocket. Enough is enough.

Also I love the fact that you ask to accept the terms and conditions with the NSW a planning and click the link. Guess what. The link is no longer available.
