This is an additional attachment to my earlier submission, containing a photo illustrating the impact when parking is forced to both sides of Varna Street. The street can no longer carry 2-way traffic. The photo was taken on a typical school morning with a student's P-plated vehicle visible, parked on the right. In this case only one of the parking spaces on the southern side is in use. When up to 8 are occupied, the street and its intersection with Fern St becomes gridlocked.

Attached is my submission objecting to the proposed expansion. I object to several aspects of it, as outlined in the attached document. The one that most directly affects me and my family is the lack of provision of parking, in particular to allow for the use of the pool to 10 p.m. every night and in all seasons of the year and the hugely expanded theatre.
Parking in Prospect Street is already very difficult to find. As a woman in my 70s with a disabled daughter I already find it hard and sometimes impossible to get a space anywhere in our street, day or night. Parents from other nearby schools as well as St Catherine's, people attending the churches in Victoria Street, shop-owners from Charing Cross, residents of the Henrietta Street flats and, increasingly, commuters on their way to Bondi Junction make use of our street where, so far, parking is not limited. Limiting it to 2-hour spaces except for residents of Prospect and nearby streets would not solve the problem of St Catherine's proposed greatly increased load.
I call on your department to recommend against the proposal.
