CECIL PARK

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally object to the proposed development of 125-151 Wallgrove Road, Cecil Park, which includes the construction of a 33,850 square meter warehouse distribution center along with 1,500 square meters of ancillary office space.
The primary reason for my objection is the close proximity of this proposed development to the residential area in Kosovich Place, Cecil Park. The scale and nature of this industrial development are incompatible with the existing residential environment, and I am concerned about the potential negative impacts on the residents of the area. These impacts include increased traffic congestion, noise pollution, air quality degradation, and a significant reduction in the quality of life for local residents.
Furthermore, the introduction of a large warehouse facility may result in increased heavy vehicle movements in the surrounding roads, which are not designed to accommodate such traffic. This poses safety concerns for residents, particularly children, and undermines the community's sense of security.
The preservation of the residential character and environment of Cecil Park should be prioritized, and the proposed development of this large-scale industrial facility is not suitable for a predominantly residential neighborhood.
I strongly urge the Department to reject the proposed development at 125-151 Wallgrove Road in order to protect the community and uphold the integrity of the area as a residential space.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Mr H E Matti & Mrs A Matti
