Marsden Park Transport Corridor

The Department of Planning and Environment has finalised amendments to planning controls for the Marsden Park and Marsden Park Industrial precincts in the North West Growth Area. 

The proposed amendments establish a transport corridor through the Marsden Park and Marsden Park Industrial precincts to protect lands for the future North-South Rail Line. 

The proposed amendments designate the transport corridor on the Land Zoning maps and include a provision that prevents development in the mapped transport corridor unless it has received the concurrence of Transport for NSW. Concurrence is dependent on the proposal not affecting the planned transport infrastructure.
