Digital Assistance Program

The Digital Assistance Program will be open to all NSW councils to provide councils with financial assistance towards better integration with the NSW Planning Portal. Councils must opt-in for this program.

This forms part of the Faster Assessments Incentive Program which has been developed to encourage councils to speed up development assessment times to help deliver more homes across NSW.

How do I opt-in?

You can opt-in to receive updates by registering through the online form. This page will also be regularly updated with the latest information. 

What is the funding for?

The funding is to provide assistance to councils to improve their integration with the NSW Planning Portal, helping speed up development assessment times to help deliver more homes across NSW.

What is the Faster Assessments Incentive Program?

The Faster Assessments Incentive Program is an evidence-based, competitive grant program that rewards medium and high growth councils for reducing and maintaining low average development assessment timeframes.
