This development is too large for the local area and has many adverse impacts. These are the reasons I strongly object to this development.
1. Increased traffic and congestion for the Collaroy Plateau roads to which only has access via narrow and steep roads.
2. The effect on the local environment - flora and fauna. There are many birds and wallaby's and other fauna which live in this area.
3. The effect from pollution / run off into the Narrabeen Lake which is used for recreation, such as swimming, fishing, boating. This is currently at a clean after many years of hard work to bring it back after alot of pollution.
4. The number and size of the buildings are far too high and large and will create shadowing and wind tunnels.
5. The size of the pool is far too small. It is smaller than the current pool, however, the increase in residents will be at least 700 people.
6. The huge loss of trees.
7. It is an overdevelopment of an existing Retirement Village for many years and should remain so.
