I strongly object to this project as it sets a precedence for over development. The Narrabeen peninsula is a rare part of the northern beaches that still has a character of smaller density residential area. If it goes over 2 or 3 stories development the whole area is too small to cope with such high density development. The traffic ans parking is already at capacity. There are other suitable areas to do larger density sites but along ocean st Narrabeen is NOt one of them . This area is unique and should be protected as heritage area to keep its unique surfing atmosphere and not a Dee why feel. Please do NOt allow this development.

The height and elevation is against the current aesthetic of that area of our suburb. It is overdevelopment that will lead to congestion and strain on local infrastructure.

I strongly object to the Indigo by Moran Seniors Living proposal as it stands. The 5–6 storey height is far too tall for our low-rise neighbourhood and will negatively impact traffic, parking, and the local character. I urge the Department to reduce the building height to no more than 2–3 storeys and lower the overall density to better fit

This project doesn’t belong in Narrabeen. It will never be a good fit for the area and will transform the Narrabeen peninsula for the worse.

I very strongly object to the Indigo by Moran Seniors Living proposal in its current form.
The planned 5–6 storey height is completely out of character with the surrounding low-rise residential area of Narrabeen. It will dominate the streetscape, block sunlight, and destroy the existing neighbourhood character. Nothing nearby approaches this height — it simply does not belong here.
Traffic and parking impacts will be severe (these are already ongoing issues). With 149 units and 192 parking spaces, Ocean and Lagoon Streets — and all surrounding streets — will face significant congestion, increased safety risks for pedestrians, and overflow parking.
This development represents overdevelopment: too tall, too dense, and too intrusive for this community. Seniors housing should integrate with the community, not overwhelm it.
I urge the Department to refuse the proposal as lodged and require a substantially reduced building height (no more than 2–3 storeys) and a lower overall density to better reflect the coastal village character of Narrabeen.

Objection based on the height of the building exceeding 3 stories. This building will dominate the area and does not fit in with the current lifestyle. The added vehicles from this development onto the already stretched infrastructure such as roads and parking far exceeds any benefit the 6 story building would bring to the community.

Traffic and parking are already a huge problem along Ocean Street. Ocean Street can not accommodate such a large scale development.
