I object to the project.
The traffic issues outlined months ago have not been honestly addressed. There are parking issues which have not been adequately addressed.
The drainage issues have not been adequately addressed. Are the developers prepared to insure the 10 Marian street property over potential flooding potential?
The matters related to changes in building profiles have not been realistically addressed. These will need to be further assessed as lower profiles in Stanhope road have resulted in higher profiles on the rear boundary resulting in significant degradation in amenity to properties at 10 Marian street.
While this matter is processed under State rules, we residents have to live under rules where reasonable amentity applies while permitting development for the good of Sydney as a whole.

Response to Exhibition of Proposed Residential Buildings at 10, 14 and 14a
Stanhope Road, Killara (SSD-81890707)
I object to the proposed development.
I previously submitted an objection (25/26-5-2025) and none of the changes made
to the plans have addressed my concerns over amenity, privacy, and traffic congestion raised.
1. I object to the proposed development because it is over-scale for the limited
site and too high at 10 storeys at the northern boundary with 10 Marian Street.
Our study window, our kitchen window, and our rear bedroom windows look directly out on the
existing Cyprus tree barrier, and this development will tower over them and be a menacing and
highly objectionable intrusion. That’s assuming they are not removed by the developer, which is
a horrific risk.
2. I believe the development will ruin the local environment and diminish the
amenity of the area for its neighbours;
3. I believe Stanhope Road is already unsafe, particularly with its junctions with
the Pacific Highway and Culworth Avenue and especially during construction
when it would become very dangerous;
4. I believe that during and post construction, Stanhope Road would be so
parked out that its amenity would be destroyed;
