The future staff parking indicated for stage 3 should be moved to stage 1 as this could be used for construction staff parking for the duration of stage 1, 2 and 3.
The northern beaches 179 bus terminal redevelopment should be revised/moved before the reconstruction of the Lakeshore Drive realignment.
Lantana Ave traffic count should be carried out prior to any thought of construction vehicle access. This road is used for the main access for medical emergencies including ambulances.
There has been no discussion as to the construction vehicle access down Veterans Parade past the Augusta shops and the . Will this require NIGHT access to the ANZAC Village construction areas?
I hope the above few points help in this project as traffic management and parking will be a number one priority for the ANZAC Village residence.

The traffic around Narrabeen, Collaroy plateau, Cromer and Wheeler Heights cannot handle the trucks and workmen vehicles and construction equipment. The number of concrete trucks that will coming up one of these 2 streets will be HUGH. There are 2 primary schools and a busy shopping center on Veterans pde, and the only 2 streets for trucks to exit or enter Collaroy plateau are Rose Ave and Park Street. I spoke to a Northern Beaches concrete supply company and he said there would be about 4000 to 8000 concrete trucks maybe even more and they would come up Rose Ave, in-between 2 primary schools and exiting onto Veterans pde. where the small very busy shopping Centre is. Both of these 2 streets have parked cars on them and a lot of traffic on them especially when Wakehurst parkway is closed because of rain. There is also a lot of government buses using these streets. When Wakehurst parkway is closed a lot of traffic comes up through Collaroy plateau to go to Warringah rd., Roseville bridge. There are only 3 streets into the Northern Beaches Mona Vale Road, Spit bridge, or Roseville bridge, no trams or trains but there is Manly ferries. Northern Beaches hospital is too small already. I moved into the war vets 4 years ago because it is a spacious, leafy bushland and a place with a lot of wild life and bird life. I didn't move into the war vets to be in a concrete jungle with sky scrapers. The labor government wants more affordable housing but the prices the war vets are asking on these places with the views will be huge. There are 3 new villas now being built and are going to be sold for $2,850,000.00 each, that people if they live for 10 years or more will lose 30% of their buy in price with no capital gains. The gardeners that do around my area have been told not to whipper snip anymore because there is asbestos dust near the surface. The amount of stress I am under worrying about the noise, the disruption, the dust and dirt, losing the sun from my place and the traffic problems is affecting my health and my mental health now. I should not have to be doing this!!! I moved into a beautiful 2-bedroom home with an attached garage on flat ground on Lantana Ave with heaps of sunlight and trees around it thinking this is my lifetime home. I did not move into the war vets to go through years of disruptions. I moved into the war vets to be around the place I grow up, the places I know, the village and country atmosphere not the city life style. I think the war vets have already breached the protection we have under the Retirement Villages act 1999 and the Retirement Villages Regulation 2025.
Retirement Villages Act 1999 No 81 Division 3 Certain rights of residents 66 Operator to respect rights of residents (1) The operator of a retirement village must respect the rights of residents of the village. (2) In particular, the operator- (a) must not interfere, or cause or permit any interference, with the reasonable peace, comfort or privacy of a resident, Retirement Villages Regulation 2025 Schedule 9 Rules of conduct for operators of retirement villages Part 2 Standards of conduct 4 Operators must have regard to best interests of all residents (1) The operator of a retirement village must, in undertaking the operator's functions, have regard to the best interests of all residents of the village as far as is practicable or appropriate. (2) When dealing with a prospective resident, the operator must, in undertaking the operator's functions, have regard to the best interests of the prospective resident. (3) regard In determining what is in the best interests of all residents, or of a prospective resident, the operator must have to the following matters- (a) the age and health of residents or the prospective resident, (b) the views expressed by residents or the prospective resident, (c) requests made by residents or the prospective resident, (d) the impact a decision or action may have on the health, finances and wellbeing of residents or the prospective resident, (e) past complaints, issues or concerns raised by residents.
