I support the project

This project will create too many traffic, noise and dust to the residents living at Garthowen Crescent and Old Castle Hill road. There are already a few new high-rise close to completion bringing lots of people here. The narrow Old Castle Hill Road and Garthowen Crescent will be very chaotic on the traffic while bringing more congestion at the corner of Old Castle Hill Road and McMullen Ave.

We wish to object to the Early Works and the Mixed Use Development at 16-20 Old Castle Hill Road.
Our major objections relate to the rezoning of the area and the construction of a 40storey building. A building of this size and magnitude would have social impact on other adjacent sites. The maximum height of any other residential building is 18 storeys and we would feel it is out of place for this area, anything over 20 storeys would be out of place.
Another area of concern to us would be the impact of the traffic in the area both in the construction phase and additional traffic following completion. Additional traffic around the intersection of Old Castle Hill Road and McMullen Avenue is already causing problems during peak hour times.
Other additional concerns we have are clearly included in the assessment prepared by Sarah George Consulting which we fully support.
In summary as local residents we find it increasingly difficult to move around the area because of the traffic congestion.
