Wind turbine developments in other regions have generated ongoing complaints and legal disputes over health and noise impacts. The experiences reported in media coverage should serve as a warning for this proposal. Local communities should not be subjected to similar outcomes. This is green ideology gone mad destroying rural Australia.

The Wallaby Creek Wind Electricity Generating Works and BESS because the overall risks outweigh the claimed benefits. The proposal threatens rural land use, environmental safety, community wellbeing, and local amenity. Narromine Shire should not become an industrial energy zone at the expense of residents and agriculture.

These project destroy the rural fabric of community.The project introduces significant uncertainty regarding contamination risks from chemicals, lubricants, and battery components. Any accidental spills or leaks could damage farmland and surrounding ecosystems. Prevention of contamination should be prioritised over industrial expansion.

Concerns remain about the long-term decommissioning of turbines and battery infrastructure. Media reports have shown abandoned turbine blades and disposal problems in landfill sites worldwide. The land will ever be fully restored.

The proposed development may create ongoing dust and air quality issues during construction and operation. Heavy machinery, roadworks, and infrastructure installation will impact nearby residents and farming activities. Rural communities deserve protection from industrial pollution.

The emergency response capability in the district may be insufficient for a major industrial incident. Battery fires and turbine accidents require specialised resources that regional communities may not possess. Public safety should come before development approvals.

I object to this project. The proposed industrial wind turbines and BESS will ruin the beautiful views the local residents and communities have loved for their entire lives. These structures will destroy the landscapes in such a way that they will have negative impacts on tourism and therefore impact local economies. There are also the negative health impacts these industrial wind turbines will have on the nearby residents. Living so close to these is not safe.

i object to this Wind Farm and BESS project.
the community and wildlife seem to have no say in this and i am acting as a voice in support of them. this project will destroy the landscape and health of nearby residents and wildlife/livestock. They did not ask for this, so they should not have this project forced upon them.

There are concerns about shadow flicker from turbine blades affecting homes and rural properties. Repetitive flickering can create stress, annoyance, and reduced enjoyment of private residences. No Australian or Residents should not have their living conditions diminished by industrial infrastructure.

I would like to begin by acknowledging the farmers of the land within our great nation of Australia today. I pay my respects to Australia’s past, present and future farmers who have and will continue to battle setbacks such as renewable energy destruction, drought, floods, vermin plagues, diseases, and government policy, all so they can provide Australia with food and fibre. I acknowledge that these setbacks come at a high price of mental health, and many have taken their lives as a result due to such pressures. I extend this respect and am thankful for the sacrifices those within the agricultural industry make in order to provide Australia with the essentials; I acknowledge the agricultural industry as the backbone of our nation
We need to unite and fight these developers and the Australian government for forcing this upon us.

These projects are not only detrimental to our health, but also the health of livestock and wildlife. The plastics that come off the blades will slowly destroy the health and lives of all surrounding living things. The toxic run-off from the blades will impact our crops and livestock. As soon as word gets out that our food and fibre has been contaminated within a radius of these structures, that will be the end of the Australian ag industry as nobody will want to purchase from these properties. Why is it acceptable that rural Australia be lumped with these burdens?

These are toxic structures that will destroy not only our land, but the health of our livestock and communities.

These projects will make aerial firefighting impossible in the case of paddock / bush fires, thus endangering lives.

There is too much research coming out now outlining the dangers this infrastructure has on the health and safety of not only humans, but our animals and environment.
Our government must put a stop to this before it is too late.
