Please See attachment as it contains my objections.

My building of residence is 20 Barber Avenue. We consist of 18 apartments. It is unclear if notices from the Department and the Planners have been sent to lot owners (some are landlords) and or Strata Management. There are many who own lots with English as a second language and are unable to advocate their issues due to cultural and language barriers. Particularly for individual and common property issues of impacts of sunlight, noise and traffic congestion.

There is a generalised anger and concern regarding the very potential and damaging impacts ot quality of life and lack of meaningful and clear consultaton and transparency of information from the planners to the community. If not handled well, fairly and justly by the developers , this could and will become a legal issue. A hearing should be in place for any proposed works and early works should be ceased until plans are discussed , all detailed impacts must be assessed fully and made public prior to discussions and all impacts justly reviewed.

Good planning will benefit Eastlakes in the long term rather than short term gain for Housing 'quotas' within a 3 year term. There is inadequte and realistically no foreeable adequate infrasturcture, particularly road, traffic and public transport infrastructure within the next decade. The size and scale of the propopsal is too large and can not be accomodated in the proposed site. It is unrealistic on a grand scale and irresponsibly proposed by the Planners and Govenrment HDA avenues to allow such a proposal to even be given support.

Pleae note: The image attached is a photograph from the only community consultation that I received notice of which was held in May. No access to detailed Overshadowing reports were able to be accessed easily to refer to, but the image is what was shown to the community that werein attendance on the projector.
