Extending construction hours to 6am on weekdays and allowing rock breaking and rock hammering all day saturday from 7am is outrageous. Please allow residents more sleep.

Hi there, building on my previous submission. We have a dog and a child on the way. Broadening the work hours would be highly disruptive to their sleep schedule (and our own) and do not believe the shortening of 1-3 months justifies this intrusion on our right to have quiet in the early mornings and evenings as local residents

I strongly object to the proposed extension of building operations adjacent to my balcony.

The construction has already caused prolonged and significant disruption through excessive noise, dust, and a substantial loss of residential amenity. Extending these works will only prolong these impacts and further diminish residents' ability to peacefully enjoy their homes.

I am particularly concerned by the proposal to undertake works on weekends until 6:00 pm. This is unreasonable and places an unnecessary burden on residents, who are entitled to enjoy some peace and quiet during their weekends. Extending noisy construction activities until the evening effectively removes any meaningful opportunity for residents to use their balconies or enjoy their homes free from disruption.

I respectfully request that the extension be refused. If it is approved, any consent should include significantly reduced weekend working hours and strict conditions to minimise noise, dust, and the overall impact on neighbouring residents.

I live directly opposite and above the construction works, and I can honestly say that the current working hours are already causing a significant level of disturbance. Extending these hours would further disrupt my daily life and have a considerable impact on my wellbeing and ability to enjoy my home. For these reasons, I strongly object to the proposed extension of the construction hours.

We are already experiencing and having to cope with being surrounded by several different long term construction sites and the noise levels ( and disruptions) associated with them.
The noise fatigue is already having an impact on my health with increased episodes of headaches and generalised fatigue. I already have to take not just myself but my daughter (when she has been off sick) out of our home and away from the area for hours on multiple days just to escape the noise and find an environment that enables us to relax and recover ( something that you should be able to do in your own home!).
Allowing extension of construction hours would greatly increase the already existing negative impact to my (and my family’s) health and wellbeing.
