The height and scale of this development will have significant negative impacts on local traffic, parking availability and the Ocean St and Lagoon St community. The height of this development is not in line with any other blocks in this area and will completely change the atmosphere. I DO NOT support this development.

The 6 storey high rise will be the biggest in the area, and is against current developmental regulations. Insufficient parking is already a problem in the area and this will only make it worse. This will block sun and complete overshadow the building on loftus street. In addition, current roads, transport and infrastructure cannot support an influx of people of this magnitude without being extremely detrimental to current residents.

I strongly object to the Indigo by Moran Seniors Living proposal. The 5 storey + 3 basement level height is far too tall for the low-rise neighbourhood in which it is situated. Additionally the impact it will have on traffic, parking and local character will be immense. Already it is impossible for two cars to pass each other on Octavia Street (which this development borders), causing traffic jams to regularly build up onto the main thoroughfare of Ocean Street. It is also within 50 metres of Lisle Street which regularly floods causing residents in that street to use street parking adjacent to the existing Taylor Village. That will be exacerbated with the quantity of residents/cars increasing by more than double with this development. I urge that the scope of this project be significantly reduced to be aligned to the neighbourhood in which it is located.

Too large high, not inline with the local area building heights
Too large would put further strain on limited existing parking
Too large existing traffic is already a significant problem particularly when entering and exiting property
Local main water supply issues which are already under stress and have Syd Water working on them
The upper stories will be looking into properties on the other side of Ocean Street.

Height and amount of dwellings in a small area will be major issues. A majority of unit style dwellings are only two stories three stories in this area so this is well above this from the plans. The height and amount of dwelling goes agains what is currently in the area. Parking is at a premium already. Traffic around this area is also a major concern due to the small streets and position opposite a popular beach. This will further create traffic congestion in this area. Parking is also major issue as these developments which never offer enough visitor parking for the size of this project which leads to little or no parking. There is little transport in the immediate area and it is far walk to a major transport hub. This project needs to be reduced to fit into the area and a large visitor carpark matching the amount of dwellings in this project.

The development is far too huge for the local area. It would cause absolute traffic chaos on a small street like Ocean street. It would change the feel and look of Narrabeen because the building proposal is way too high. No other building is taller than 3 stories. It would block natural sunlight from neighbouring houses. Ocean street and surrounding streets are not equipped for such a big development. This definitely cannot go ahead.

I object to the proposed development at 156 Ocean Street Narrabeen on the grounds of excessive size, scale and height, and the unacceptable impact on parking and local amenity.
The proposed building is grossly out of character with the surrounding residential area. It's bulk and height will dominate the streetscape, overshadow neighbouring properties, and set an undesirable precedent for overdevelopment in Narrabeen.
Our home on the adjacent block has no off-street parking, and we rely entirely on limited on-street spaces. The influx of vehicles associated with this project will further erode already scarce parking, forcing residents and visitors to compete for spaces and increasing congestion and safety risks (which have been identified as particularly acute on Ocean Street: see for example the 2024 safety study for Ocean Street which formed part of the Northern Beaches Council's "Safer Neighbourhoods Program").
Existing infrastructure, parking, and road networks cannot sustain further high-density development of this scale in the local area.
I urge the Department to refuse or significantly scale back the proposal to protect the character, amenity, and liveability of the area for current and future residents.

I strongly object to this project as it sets a precedence for over development. The Narrabeen peninsula is a rare part of the northern beaches that still has a character of smaller density residential area. If it goes over 2 or 3 stories development the whole area is too small to cope with such high density development. The traffic ans parking is already at capacity. There are other suitable areas to do larger density sites but along ocean st Narrabeen is NOt one of them . This area is unique and should be protected as heritage area to keep its unique surfing atmosphere and not a Dee why feel. Please do NOt allow this development.

The height and elevation is against the current aesthetic of that area of our suburb. It is overdevelopment that will lead to congestion and strain on local infrastructure.

I strongly object to the Indigo by Moran Seniors Living proposal as it stands. The 5–6 storey height is far too tall for our low-rise neighbourhood and will negatively impact traffic, parking, and the local character. I urge the Department to reduce the building height to no more than 2–3 storeys and lower the overall density to better fit
