CASA notes that the Department of Infrastructure Regional Development and Cities ‘Approval’ to NSW Planning issued on 11 January 2018 for the Victoria Cross Station Development is for a building of height 230m above AHD.
CASA has reviewed the ‘VICTORIA CROSS OSD – Preliminary Aeronautical Impact Assessment Updates’ 2 April 2019 by AVLAW Consulting and CASA notes that the proposed building height remains at 230m above AHD.
CASA has no objections to or issues with the proposed development, the Department of Infrastructure Regional Development and Cities ‘Approval’ or the Preliminary Aeronautical Impact Assessment Updates.
CASA recommends that NSW Health Infrastructure and the Air Ambulance Helicopter Operators are consulted regarding the proximity to the Royal North Shore Hospital Helicopter Landing Site.
