The proposed modification is effectively a mine life extension and MACH Energy Australia Pty Ltd (MACH) is not seeking to amend the overall approved production rates for the Mount Pleasant mine or coal transport arrangements.
MACH has long term contractual access arrangements in place and is currently in the process of constructing rail loading infrastructure that will connect to the Hunter Valley rail network. Australian Rail Track Corporation Limited (ARTC) confirms that the proposed modification does not affect rail network capacity and poses no change to the existing rail access arrangements or construction/operational interfaces between ARTC and MACH for the Mount Pleasant rail loading infrastructure.
