It is important for families and the community to survive and make the town grow. My family will have to sell up and move if this mine closes. The town won't survive. The amount of money the mine contributes to the community keeps it all growing.

I am an employee at Mount Pleasant Operation and have lived in the Muswellbrook community for the last 12years. The continuation of the project is critical to the financial security of my family and has provided career and training opportunities that is rare in our local community.
The viability of the project ensures our immediate and long term future in Muswellbrook and the greater Hunter.

The continuation of Mt Pleasant Mine, not only save thousands of jobs but also save the town of Muswellbrook and other surrounding towns from going under and other local business shutting.
The business provides clean affordable energy to the country and the amount of money that goes to the government and also the amount of money the company puts into the surrounding towns, this town and Country needs this mine extension

I am a local of 19 years, I am happily married to a life long local and we are raising two teenagers in the local area. Work at Mount Pleasant personally has created financial stability, has allowed us to give back to the community and has supported our growth in participating in what the town has to offer. We have recently brought a new house and are continuing to support locals by using local services for our renovation projects.
Certainty over approvals will help us plan with confidence for the future as currently we are looking to be more reserved in our choices and what the future may hold both individually and for the wider community.
Mount pleasant currently brings growth to our community, and significant funding to sporting, entertainment and those less fornute. Mount pleasant employs a signficant amount of locals and also brings new families into our town.

This mining operation supports my business and my family and in Return we support other businesses and family’s.

Muswellbrook community needs this project to go ahead for the future of the employees, families and the community

Without this expansion apart from many families losing major income our sporting groups and shops in our local area will suffer greatly! Shops will close and there will massive pressure on our kids sporting teams to maybe even cease it will kill muswellbrook

I believe the project is very important for the Muswellbrook community and there employees and future employment. I have just recently finish my first year traineeship at Mt Pleasant and have enjoyed it so much the people and the leaders are so amazing and supportive not only to the worker they support the community as well. I hope to have many more years with the company for future growth for me and my family.Please help by supporting the projects so my job is secure as well as a lot of other working family’s that rely on there jobs with the company. Since moving to Muswellbrook 5 years ago we have found it to be a town that has the backbone for families and future generations our generations need the mines to continue to run.
