I fully support the project. It creates a strong positive future to all our families and has done for many years and hopefully will for many more years to come. I have grown up in a strong family surrounded by mining and has not only provided me with fortunate Life Style. It also keeps our local businesses in full support and hopefully it will continue to do so. It doesn’t only help our mining industry. It provides all our industries with strong positive outcomes. Let’s keep our future strong for ourselves and our children.

I feel this planned extension of HVO will bring much needed security and financial benefit to the immediate area and NSW in general. This is an existing mine that has provided employment over a number of years and can for many years to come. NSW and Australia does not have the infrastructure to provide quantity and quality electricity at the moment through renewable energy sources, so ,until they do, we need to support our local coal mines. As far as I'm aware, HVO has in this application abided by very stringent guidelines to assure government that they are conscious of community concerns, and has demonstrated that they can mine coal into the future with the environment ,community and their workforce as the main focus.

Small towns not only rely on farming business but also mining business with employing 1500 people. Earned money is spent locally to small towns in various local businesses. With the amount of tax paid by employees, council maintains amenities. Environmentally, mining business grows trees to support health and wellbeing. Noise complaints from local residents are managed in accordance with policies and procedures set in place.
extending mining continuation project will have a bigger impact on economy positively as mentioned above.
